The XD381X Grooved Butterfly Valve features a tamper switch, making it ideal for fire protection systems that require position monitoring. Built according to BS EN 593 design standards, the valve ensures consistent performance, minimal torque, and leak-tight shutoff under varying pressure conditions.
This model includes groove connection ends to ISO 6182, allowing for easy installation and maintenance. The top flange standard ISO 5211 enables automated or manual operation with various actuator options. The stem drive is operated by keys, configured with a parallel or diagonal square or flat head for reliable control.
Operating at a working pressure of PN16, the valve performs efficiently within a temperature range of 0°C – 100°C, making it suitable for both water supply and fire suppression systems. It is protected with a Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating (FBE) compliant with ANSI/AWWA C550 standards, ensuring corrosion resistance and extended service life. Painting is also available upon request.
